Choosing a location to renew your wedding vows

When you plan your ceremony, you have to consider the time of the year that you will have the ceremony as well as the physical location of the ceremony. This will help you decide where you can have the ceremony, when you can have the ceremony and how many people you can invite. Time of year and location may also help you decide if the ceremony will take place indoors, outdoors or a combination of both.

When planning a location for your renewal of vows ceremony, remember this is a celebration for the love and commitment you and your spouse share for one another. The location that you choose should be as special as the day itself. More and more couples are choosing to travel to exotic destinations to renew their love and devotion to their spouses, which can mean not everyone you want to attend will be able to.

Ceremonies Outdoors
The outdoor ceremony is popular during the late spring and summer months.  You could hire a caterer for the dinner or maybe have a cookout. Outdoor ceremonies and receptions are becoming more popular for the cost. Outdoor receptions also offer more flexible booking dates as spring and summer months are the most popular times for weddings.

Ceremonies Indoors

Indoor ceremonies and receptions are still the most common, especially if you do not know for sure what the weather will be on the day that you renew your vows. The last thing that a bride wants to happen is rain on her wedding day. This is why many couples prefer indoor ceremonies and receptions. Indoor ceremonies also mean that you can decorate more and have live entertainment and a dance floor.

Mixed Locations

You could have the ceremony indoors and have the reception outdoors. It would also be fine to have the ceremony outdoors followed by a reception indoors. There are halls that have outdoor and indoor seating. If the time of year is spring or summer, you might want to book a hall where your guests can be indoors or outdoors during the reception.

Your guests will enjoy the day with you no matter where your location, after all it's your day.
